About Us

Where it all began!
It all started one summer afternoon when I was in Jr High. COVID had just hit and school was cancelled, leaving much needed room for creative time. One night, as I was falling asleep I wondered, "How could I take my love for jewelry making and turn it into something great." After seeking out wisdom from older friends, I started and Etsy shop called California Bracelet Co. It gained great traction, but after a few years, I was ready for more. I became involved with the farmers market in Bakersfield and began to build relationships with customers and other vendors. This was just the beginning for God's plan to incorporate community with jewelry.

Why Jewelry4Jesus?
My mother and I had to go to the city courthouse to purchase a sellers license to which the lady asked what the name of my shop wanted to be. I had been debating for months, and wanted to pick a name that encapsulated where I felt God leading this jewelry business. I blurted out "Jewelry4Jesus" and felt a little embarrassed because she looked at me with a belittling side eye. Did it seem childish? I wondered.

Going foward!
After moving off to college, I haven't been able to sell at the markets anymore, and was getting ready to give up on my business. Until something happened. I was sitting in church my freshman year, about to come home for thanksgiving break and I felt God whisper to me, "Keep going with Jewelry4Jesus, just GO." Up until this point, I was ready to give up. The idea of starting a website was daunting, and I had a lack of inspiration.
Slowly but surely, God is giving me NEW ideas! a few current dreams are- jewelry/ beading workshops for kids, hosting a girls jewelry making event at a local coffee shop, and letting my friends design their own pieces and market them on their social media platforms!
